This disused railway line between Padstow and Wadebridge is the ideal place for a walk through Cornwall’s history. The flat path makes it perfect for wheelchairs, cyclists and push chairs as well of varying degrees of walking abilities.
The Camel Trail is 18 miles long and there is a greyhound bus (555) that runs the route so you can cycle one way and get the bus the other. The route travels through woodland, countryside and at various points there are lovely views across the Camel Estuary and beaches.
Other maps are available but the old railway line generally follows the river.
