Welcome to Sandpiper —a relaxed coastal chalet nestled in the serene Towans at Gwithian. This retreat sleeps up to six guests across two cosy bedrooms and a charming mezzanine space. With private parking for two cars and just a short stroll from three miles of stunning golden sands, it’s the ideal getaway for beach lovers.
Inside
Step inside of Sandpiper and you’ll be greeted by a soothing coastal palette that creates a sense of calm and tranquillity. The modern, well-equipped kitchen, complete with high-end appliances like double Neff ovens, is perfect for whipping up delicious meals. A unique feature of Sandpiper is the separate dining room—a rarity in Gwithian properties—offering a comfortable space for six to gather, with double doors that open up to the outdoor decking and dining area.
The airy living room, with its vaulted ceilings and mezzanine above, provides plenty of comfortable seating, including reclining sofas, a smart TV and French doors to let in fresh sea breezes. These doors lead directly to a gate for easy access to the beach path, perfect for spontaneous walks by the waves.
The ground floor hosts two inviting bedrooms. The principal bedroom features a king-sized bed, high ceilings, ample storage, and an en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The second bedroom has comfortable twin beds and plenty of storage. A family bathroom, complete with a bathtub and overhead shower completes the ground floor.
Upstairs, the mezzanine offers a cosy space for two more guests, with single beds and blackout blinds for a restful night’s sleep. From here, check the surf and enjoy stunning sea views out to Godrevy Lighthouse —a little slice of coastal paradise. Please note the mezzanine has low ceilings, so it’s ideal for children.
Outside
Outside, you’ll find private parking for two cars right across from the chalet. A secure, gated garden is next to the parking area, it is separated by a quiet drivable path to other chalets so we recommend supervision for younger children. There’s also a decked area directly outside Sandpiper’s front door, surrounded by fencing, offering a sunny spot to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind with an evening drink.
Sandpiper is just a short walk away from local cafes like the Jam Pot Cafe, Sunset Surf and Kabyn Cafe on the beach, restaurants like The Rockpool at Godrevy and miles of South West Coast Path.
Things we love
We love that you can wake up on a bright summer morning (or a crisp winter morning!) and stroll down to the beach with a coffee in hand. The A30 is just five minutes away which is perfect for exploring Cornwall, but you really don’t need to venture far when everything you need is in your beach chalet, or within walking distance. Back at Sandpiper you can cook up delicious meals and sit on the decking with a glass of wine before deciding what to do with the evening – the world really is your oyster…
